This phase is critical. It's where we take everything we've written, shot and gathered and we're going to create what we define as a "masterpiece". During this phase we are at the make or break part of the production process. We create a paper edit and the pieces are layered methodically into the project. These layers are compiled and carved into what we define as a "life of its own". As your project begins to take on its own life, the blueprint we created in pre production is now a piece of paper that you can always fall back on for more information.
